I am a firm believer in the great power of human spirit and endeavour. Human beings are capable of great achievements in every field, provided they receive an education that caters to their all round faculties. It is with this conviction that I once again take over the reins of RiverDale School, having served as its Principal earlier too, between 2009 and 2013. My aim and objective are clear: to create and sustain such a stimulating and comprehensive educational environment at RiverDale that will help its students develop all their talents and faculties to the fullest extent of their innate potentialities.

Topmost in the hierarchy of my expectations is helping children imbibe high moral standards and principles through which they willingly decide to do what is right. The academic proficiency and intellectual development of students follow closely. The physical, emotional and social development of our students cannot, and will not be lost sight of. In short, I intend to ensure that all students of RiverDale are equipped with the knowledge, skills, attitudes and abilities that they will require to meet the challenges awaiting them in the future.

The school management has continued to serve as a guiding light, shepherding one and all at RiverDale with care and tenacity along the path of advancement and growth. The staff has played an admirable part in imbibing, with single-minded determination and commitment, the high expectations that are inevitably associated with the responsibility of shaping tender hearts, minds and souls. It has responded with remarkable zeal to the call of duty by contributing, through tireless and caring effort, to the all-round development of the students entrusted to their it's care.

The parents too have been a constant source of encouragement and support to everyone at RiverDale helping effect essential course-corrections from time to time.

The students, the focal centre of all activities at RiverDale and the very reason for its existence, have also played their unique role by aligning themselves with the desirable conduct and application that seek to ensure their all-round and ongoing development. A vivid expression of a profound sense of responsibility and ownership towards their own learning, an enhanced ability to resist peer pressure and take morally sound decisions, and a predisposition towards cooperation and mutual support in the fields of academics, sports and extra-curricular activities are only a few attributes that characterise our students at RiverDale.

The manner in which students have been responding positively to the caring and tireless efforts of their teachers and other staff fills us with the confidence that we at RiverDale are moving in the right direction. It gives us the motivation to redouble our efforts and rededicate ourselves to serving the best interests of our students. It also fills us with a sense of pride and achievement that RiverDale, in its own small way, continues to enrich society by providing a steady stream of morally, intellectually, socially and physically strong citizens. It is with such lofty aims that we look to the future and discharge our duties and responsibilities in the present.
