Students at RiverDale are encouraged to undertake formal training in music through the use of its modern and well-equipped music studio. Music is considered as food for the soul and helps develop a serene and peaceful disposition in those exposed to it. Music education helps to instill human values, attitudes and skills in students while contributing to the overall development of the child.
A set of well-trained and highly enthusiastic faculty help students not only learn western classical music but also to appreciate the finer nuances of the beauty that this art-form entails.
The aim of our school is to provide holistic education with a child-oriented learning atmosphere, which is warm and friendly. Introduction of students to the beauty of the violins, the guitars, the keyboards, the recorders, and so on helps in achieving this aim, and also in exploring their individual potential.
RiverDale also routinely prepares a select and talented band of students for the theory and practical examinations conducted annually by the prestigious Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music, and the Graded Music Exams of Trinity College, both based in London.
